Hi I’m Jo

For me having a ‘whole life balance’ is absolutely paramount. In my free time I love spending quality time with friends and family especially my grandkids and my beautiful Goldendoodle Alfie who also serves as my personal trainer and wellbeing manager.

Getting outdoors on a regular basis is essential for me and daily walks with Alfie during the working week gives me an hour a day to just be – let my mind go where it wants and gain clarity in whatever I am doing. Essentially it also gives me the wellbeing of regular exercise and fresh air.

Weekends are usually all about family and/or indulging in my other favourite pastime of weddings – I am a ceremony officer and registrar and do this formally on a casual basis. It’s all about the people!

Professionally, I am absolutely passionate about people and business and getting the recipe right so that the people policies and way of working really make a difference to the business – essentially the business is ‘the people’ as they are passionate about it!

I am very open, honest, to the point and diplomatic when needed. I refuse to use corporate jargon, I won’t tell you what you want to hear necessarily but I will tell you what you need to hear.

I have almost 30 years of HR knowledge and experience ensuring that my skill and expertise is well honed and expansive.
